sounds of evening cicadas
It's 6:40pm now. I have listing beautiful chirping of evening cicadas from the backyard. I love these sounds very much.

We haven`t cicadas here in Finland, but I remember one special japanese cicada, who flew on my shoulder in the park of Tokio. Everyone in our company were biologists, so you can guess, how many photos they took about "my cicada".
I will hear singing of cicadas next time after 2,5 months, when I will go to Greece for holiday.

Hi Leena, thank you very much for your comment! I didn't know that in your country, there's no cicada. Wow, I can learn something everyday.
We have cicadas everywhere during the summertime, so those insects are quite close to us. 'Evening cicada' makes very different sounds from other kind of cicadas. Evening cicada only chirps in the evening as the name. And their sound are very elegant and somehow nostalgic.
