Wonderful springtime
We took this picture last week, on Apr 22th.
Though, we still enjoy seeing cherry blossoms here and there.
So lovely and gorgeous color of trees. We took this picture on the way to Miharu-machi on May 1st.
My husband took this picture just yesterday, when he came back from skiing at Deco ski resort.

Are these trees cherry or almond trees? Neither of them grows here in Finland.
I have seen them in bloom in Greece
They are just wonderful.

These trees look like cherry to me. I miss the cherry blossoms that I used to see every year in Washington D.C.

Like Don said, these are cherry trees. I love cherry blossom, because its color and gorgeousness but transience. Those flowers are very beautiful when it's in full bloom as well as when they scatter falling.
I've never seen almond trees. I'll check them in full blossom on the web.
